The UNFAIRGROUND area at the Glastonbury festival will be getting a bit of a face lift this year, and a new logo was to be designed. Along with Jonny Halifax, we came up with this montage of the strange, sexy and weird elements of this notorious part of the the festival. The second image will be used on the Crew T-shirts. Jonny and I will also be performing in the Acid Lounge, under the name HONKEYFINGER.
The Pick Me Up print and graphics fair finishes on Sunday, so you only have 4 days to get down and buy these delicious screen prints, all at £25 each! I will be there on Saturday, so come and say hello and buy some stuff!
This is a painted postcard I made, called ‘The Eastbourne Volcano’, for an online project about postable art and the postcard. They are collating an online archive at the moment and may have a show in their gallery soon. http://advertisingexhibitions.co.uk/blog/?paged=4
That’s right. You can be the owner of a limited edition print, signed and printed by me. There are three to collect- “Mexican Eagle”, “Tiki Landscape”, and “White Horse”. They are all exclusively available from my new online shop- http://martinkingdom.bigcartel.com/. Postage and packaging is included in the price to UK customers. If you have questions, do not hesitate to email me at the address found here on my blog and on my website. Merry Kristmas.
I was asked to design some Christmas cards. I wanted to avoid the usual snowman, santa, holly, xmas pudding imagery. Christmas crackers are one of the few things I like about Christmas, especially the paper crown.
I bought a new pile of postcards yesterday at the Dalston Waste. Here are 3 of the nicer ones. Genova, London Zoo(?), and somewhere in Belium, I think.
Three dip pen and watercolour drawings I have made recently.
